Beyond charity

Education is a right, not a privilege.

Millions of children want the opportunity to learn and thrive. Franck Giving connects donors directly with school-led education projects in Africa — making the need, the funding and the resulting impact visible.

Our belief

Every child deserves to learn.

“One simple act showed how one gesture can change a life.”

Our inspiration

Chali, our inspiration.

Early in the morning, Chali slings his schoolbag over his shoulder. His uniform is neatly ironed and his bag is filled with pencils, books and homework — everything he needs to learn and grow.

But Chali’s story is about more than going to school. One simple act of support showed us what can happen when a real need is connected directly with someone willing to help. It became the inspiration for Franck Giving.

Franck Giving was created around a simple belief — support is most powerful when people can see the need, understand where their contribution goes and see what it makes possible.

Why it matters

The need is clear. The path to impact should be too.

Across Africa, millions of children still face barriers to quality education.

But the challenge is not only raising more money. It is also creating a clearer connection between what schools actually need, what donors choose to support and what their contributions make possible.

Franck Giving puts school-defined education needs directly in front of donors and keeps the journey from contribution to project outcome visible.

Franck Giving does not decide what a school needs.

Schools do.

The Franck Giving difference

Schools define the need. Donors choose what to support.

Participating schools turn concrete education needs — from learning materials and infrastructure to scholarships and other priorities — into transparent funding projects.

Donors can then explore those projects, choose what matters to them and contribute directly to a specific goal.

Every contribution remains connected to that project as funding is raised, requested, released and put to work.

Our approach

From a stated need to documented impact.

Franck Giving brings the project, the funding and the evidence together in one place. Instead of asking donors simply to give and trust that their contribution will find its way to a need, the platform creates a visible path between the school’s goal, the donor’s contribution, the release of funds and evidence of what was delivered.

Our governance, Theory of Change and operating principles are set out in our Policy Plan.

From goal to impact

How your contribution works

Every contribution belongs to one active school project, creating a clear path from a stated need to a documented outcome.

  1. Schools set the goal

Schools create funding projects around concrete education needs and define what they want to achieve.

  2. Donors choose a project

Donors browse participating schools, explore their active projects and choose where their contribution can make a meaningful difference.

  3. Every contribution is recorded

Secure fiat and crypto contributions are linked to the selected project, keeping its funding progress clear and up to date.

  4. Schools request funds

When funding is needed, schools submit a project-specific request with the relevant description, cost category and supporting documentation.

  5. Funds are reviewed and released

Approved requests move through Franck Giving’s controlled payout process, connecting released funds to the project for which they were raised.

  6. Progress becomes visible

Schools attach receipts to completed payouts, preserving a documented connection between the original need, the contribution and the result.

Transparency

Follow the journey, not just the donation.

Project goals, contributions, funding requests, payouts and receipts remain connected — creating a clearer and more accountable path from donor to school.

Our principle

The project, the money and the evidence should tell one connected story.

If you can see the need, you should also be able to see what your contribution helped make possible.

It takes an ecosystem.

Frequently asked questions

Learn where the name comes from, how the platform creates transparency and how you can take part.

Why the name Franck Giving?

The name is inspired by César Francklaan, the street in Waalwijk where our founder was born. The street is named after César Franck, a 19th-century composer and teacher dedicated to nurturing talent.

César Franck reminds us that creative ideas capable of changing lives can emerge from any place in the world.

How does the technology behind the platform work?

Each contribution is tied to a specific funding project. Secure payment integrations handle fiat and crypto donations, while project balances and payout requests keep incoming funds, available funds and spending decisions distinct.

Receipts and completed payouts can be given a cryptographic fingerprint and anchored to the blockchain. This creates a tamper-evident record that supports transparency without exposing private information.

What is mobile money?

Mobile money lets people send, receive and store funds with a mobile phone, without needing a traditional bank account. It makes secure, direct payments possible even in remote areas and is widely used across Africa.

Transactions are registered by the provider, giving recipients a clear record of payments and available balances.

Where can I donate?
